Overview

What carbon dioxide is, and why the grade matters

Carbon dioxide sits in the cylinder as a liquid under its own pressure and leaves as a gas, which is what lets a relatively small pack hold a great deal of usable CO2. It is non flammable, mildly acidic in water, and cheap enough to be used in volume, so it turns up wherever a process needs an inexpensive, non reactive gas in quantity.

The grade split is real and worth respecting. Beverage grade is prepared for anything that reaches a person's glass, where odour and trace contaminants would be tasted immediately, while industrial grade serves welding and process duty where the specification is looser.

We supply both grades from Bhiwadi to beverage plants, fabricators and food processors across Bhiwadi, Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, Haryana and the wider industrial belt, with liquid CO2 available in bulk where cylinder handling has become the bottleneck.

Carbon dioxide is heavier than air and is an asphyxiant at concentration, with effects that begin before oxygen levels alone would explain them. Ventilate cellars, cold rooms and pits, and be aware that liquid or rapidly expanding CO2 causes cold burns. Keep cylinders upright and secured.

Questions we are asked about carbon dioxide

Do you supply beverage grade CO2?Yes. Beverage grade is filled separately from industrial grade, and we will confirm the specification against your requirement before the first delivery.

Can CO2 be used on its own for MIG welding?It can, and it is common on carbon steel, though many shops prefer an argon and CO2 mixture for a calmer arc and less spatter. We blend mixtures to specification.

Do you supply liquid CO2 in bulk?Yes, liquid CO2 is delivered in vessels and tankers for carbonation, chilling and food processing at volume.
