Overview

What liquid argon is, and why the grade matters

Liquid argon is argon at around minus 186 C, stored in a vessel and vaporised back to shielding gas at the point of use. The gas that reaches the torch is identical to what a cylinder would deliver, but the supply behind it lasts days rather than a shift.

The case for it is almost always throughput. A fabrication shop running several welding stations continuously gets through cylinders faster than anyone wants to handle them, and every cylinder change is a small interruption to a line that is being paid to run.

We deliver liquid argon in vessels and tankers across Bhiwadi, Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, Haryana and the wider industrial belt, with vessel size and refill frequency set against your welding load rather than a standard package.

Liquid argon causes severe cold burns and vaporises into a large volume of gas that is heavier than air, so it settles into pits and low areas and displaces oxygen there. Use insulated gloves and a face shield, never seal it in a closed container, and ventilate storage and decanting areas.

Questions we are asked about liquid argon

When does liquid argon make sense over cylinders?Once welding is continuous across several stations, cylinder handling starts costing more than the gas. Send us your consumption and we will tell you where the crossover sits for your shop.

What purity is your liquid argon?It is supplied at the same grades as our compressed argon line, including Spectro grade where the argon feeds an instrument. Confirm the grade with us for your application.

Do you supply the vessel as well?Vessel supply and sizing are arranged with the gas. We size against measured consumption rather than selling storage you will not use.

Do you deliver liquid argon across Delhi NCR and Rajasthan?Yes, in vessels and tankers from Bhiwadi into Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, Haryana and the surrounding region.
